Exhibitions

Due to the singularity of the building where our headquarters are located and to its magnificent situation, in the historic center of Malaga, there have been many occasions in which EDIPSA has been asked by various groups and organizations to transfer the magnificent Patio of the former Ugarte Barrientos Palace to serve as a framework to host the organization of cultural events, mainly exhibitions of photography, painting and sculpture. Requests that have been attended by EDIPSA willingly, in order to integrate into the activity of the city a building that, in the past, was also a reference in the organization of all kinds of cultural and social events..

Among the exhibitions carried out in our headquarters, we can highlight photographic samples such as the one related to the architectural rehabilitation works of the Palace of Marqués de Comillas de Santander, which was the culmination of a working day on the same subject organized by the Official School of Surveyors And Technical Architects of Malaga. Likewise various groups of artists, and others individually, have used the courtyard of the Edipsa Building to exhibit their pictorial samples..

Special mention should be made of the exhibition of sculpture organized on the occasion of the inauguration of Fuente Opus 363, by the famous Miguel Ortiz Berrocal, which culminated the work carried out in the Urbanization Pinos del Limonar in Málaga, promoted by EDIPSA, and for Which were brought from Verona (Italy), the artist's residence, a sample of his collection of bronze sculptures and the no less spectacular and curious collection of "multiple sculptures" in which, as a puzzle, they represent everything Type of figures, being the first time that could be contemplated in Malaga a sample of this part of the sculptural work of the notable Malaga artist..

The restoration of the for the organization of cultural events is another example of EDIPSA's commitment to Malaga, offering our support to many activities organized to enrich the cultural heritage of our city and province..
